Amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen, which has severely eroded purchasing power and escalated food insecurity levels, displaced and conflict-affected families face unprecedented challenges in securing basic nutritional needs. In response to these urgent requirements, Human Hands Organization for Relief and Sustainable Development (HHO) prioritized Social Protection and Food Security in its 2022 strategic plan, aiming to bridge the nutritional gap and provide life-saving assistance in areas most impacted by the conflict.
The organization implemented the food basket distribution project based on rigorous vulnerability criteria, targeting female-headed households, persons with disabilities, and families residing in active conflict zones or remote areas with limited access to aid. The distribution covered an extensive geographical range to ensure that support reached those in direst need across the targeted governorates.
Throughout 2022, Human Hands Organization successfully reached 1,321 beneficiary households, providing them with comprehensive food baskets containing essential nutritional commodities. The beneficiary reach was distributed as follows:
Sana'a Governorate: 571 households were targeted among the most vulnerable groups in the governorate's outskirts.
Hajjah Governorate: Assistance reached 300 households in areas facing acute humanitarian pressure.
Al-Hudaydah Governorate: 250 households benefited from emergency food aid, particularly in displacement-affected communities.
Raymah Governorate: Aid was delivered to 160 households in rugged, hard-to-reach mountainous areas.
These interventions were more than just aid distribution; they represented a pivotal step in strengthening community resilience and alleviating hunger. Human Hands Organization remains committed to its social protection efforts, emphasizing quality standards and human dignity to ensure a more stable future for affected Yemeni families.

اعتمدت المنظمة في تنفيذ مشروع توزيع السلال الغذائية على معايير اختيار دقيقة تستهدف الأسر التي تعيلها نساء، وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، والأسر القاطنة في مناطق النزاع النشط أو المناطق النائية التي تعاني من ضعف وصول المساعدات. شملت عملية التوزيع تغطية جغرافية واسعة لضمان وصول الدعم لمستحقيه في المحافظات المستهدفة.
تمكنت منظمة أيادي إنسانية خلال عام 2022 من الوصول إلى 1,321 أسرة مستفيدة، حيث تم تزويدهم بسلال غذائية متكاملة تحتوي على العناصر التغذوية الأساسية، وقد توزعت خريطة المستفيدين على النحو التالي:
محافظة صنعاء: تم استهداف 571 أسرة من الفئات الأشد احتياجاً في المناطق التابعة للمحافظة.
محافظة حجة: جرى الوصول إلى 300 أسرة في المناطق التي تعاني من ضغوط إنسانية حادة.
محافظة الحديدة: استفادت 250 أسرة من المساعدات الغذائية الطارئة، لا سيما في المناطق المتأثرة بالنزوح.
محافظة ريمة: تم توزيع المساعدات لـ 160 أسرة في مناطق ذات تضاريس وعرة يصعب الوصول إليها.
لم تكن هذه التدخلات مجرد توزيع للمعونات، بل كانت خطوة محورية في تعزيز صمود المجتمعات المحلية وتخفيف حدة الجوع. تلتزم منظمة أيادي إنسانية بمواصلة جهودها في مجال الحماية الاجتماعية، مع التركيز على معايير الجودة والكرامة الإنسانية، لضمان مستقبل أكثر استقراراً للأسر اليمنية المتضررة.
